• Are triple bunk beds very high?

  This is the most common concern; it’s understandable that you don’t want any kiddie on top to have their nose squished to the ceiling. However, manufacturers generally don’t want to limit their products to bedrooms with grand proportions, which is why most designers keep their bottom bunks low to the ground to maximise utility. Triple bunks sometimes feature a double mattress and base on the bottom bunk to reduce the overall height of the bed.

• Will it take up the whole wall?

  Not necessarily. • What if I don’t always need three beds?

  That’s fine – it’s an issue that many designers recognise, so we have plenty of double bunks with an additional pull-out bed and mattress (called a trundle bed) tucked underneath. The beauty of a Triple Bed (or a trundle for that matter) is that sleepovers can grow in size pretty quickly (as do families!), so you'll be able to accommodate all types of surprises.
